Christmas time is here and that means we have the opportunity to enjoy a lot of festive events in West Palm Beach for 2024. To save you lots of time, I’ve put together a list of the biggest local Christmas events and other holiday activities. This list will be updated regularly, so make sure to save it for later!
This article goes through the entire holiday season, but I’ve also got you covered if you’re looking for the events happening this weekend in West Palm Beach.

Christmas Events in West Palm Beach, FL 2024
Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting – Sandi Tree Lighting
- Date: Thursday, December 5, 6 PM – 10 PM
- Location: The Great Lawn, West Palm Beach waterfront, 100 Clematis Street West Palm Beach, FL 33401
- Price: FREE admission (ride on the Ferris wheel are $5 per person, plus taxes and fees)
- Details: Sandi, the world’s only 35-foot, 700-ton holiday sand tree, will debut at the Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting with a dynamic light and music show. This year’s Holiday in Paradise Presented by FPL theme is “Sandi Shares Harmony.” While traveling during the off-season, Sandi met Harmony, the leader of a Happy Herd of Llamas, who inspired this year’s theme. There will also be a 50-foot Ferris wheel, other accompanying sand sculptures besides Sandi, and a 50-ton sand bar where kids can play. The celebration will feature music by Uncle Morty’s Rhythm Cream (R&B/Soul/Rock/Cover) and will include FREE and special entertainment, including strolling entertainment, photos with Santa, and much more. A holiday shopping bazaar featuring local artisans will occur in the Lake Pavilion. Note: music, activities, and the bazaar take place until 9 PM; Sandi shows and rides on Ferris continue until 10 PM.

Sandi Tree
- Date: December 5 – December 31, 2024, 6 PM – 10 PM (shows will be extended on New Year’s Eve through midnight)

Winter In Paradise

Sandi and Santa’s Annual Pancake Breakfast
- Date: Sunday, December 8, 2024, 9:30 AM – 11 AM
- Location: The Great Lawn, West Palm Beach waterfront, 100 Clematis Street West Palm Beach, FL 33401
- Price: Tickets are $17 per person, plus taxes and fees (Tickets will soon be available at wpb.org/events)
- Details: The event includes private access to Santa and Mrs. Claus and the only daytime ride on Ferris, the 50-foot Ferris wheel.

Drive Thru Christmas Lights Show at Okeeheelee Park
- Date:
- Open November 24 for walk thru and family fun night holiday kickoff
- Open Nov 29 – Dec 1 for drive thru

- CLOSED SUNDAY DEC 24TH – CHRISTMAS EVE

- Hours are usually 6 PM – 10 PM on weekends (select days 6 PM – 9 PM). Check the website for hours before buying tickets or showing up.
- Location: Okeeheelee Park, 7715 Forest Hill Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33413
- Near Micanopy Pavilion, after the soccer fields, before Pooch Pines Dog Park. Enter Okeeheelee Park at the intersection of Forest Hill Blvd and Eshleman Trail. Proceed northbound into the park at the intersection and continue straight until you reach the show entrance.
- Price: $20 per standard car/truck (up to 8 people in vehicle), $30 per large van / small bus (9-12 passengers), $40 per large bus (13+ passengers)
- Details: Lights 4 Hope, Inc presents its 7th annual light show. This is a drive-thru light show containing over 2 miles of animated and musical holiday light displays. Pre-purchase your ticket online or pay cash/credit/ApplePay at the event gate. Proceeds from this event benefit local children and families suffering with life-altering diseases and diagnoses. This is a drive-thru event. All participants are to remain in their vehicles at all times. No exceptions. Speed limit is 5 MPH through the event. Drivers must adhere to all traffic laws.

Outdoor Ice Skating And Winter Wonderland at The Ben West Palm Hotel
- Date: November 2, 2024 – March 1, 2025
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 2:30 PM – 10 PM, Weekends 9:30 AM – 10 PM (There will be multiple ice resurfacing breaks per day. Check the official calendar for special hours and closures.)
- Location: The Ben, an Autograph Collection Hotel, 251 N Narcissus Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
- Price: $20 per adult, $10 children ages 4-11, children ages 3 and under can enjoy the Winter Wonderland for free but not allowed on the ice skating rink.

- Details: The Ben, an Autograph Collection Hotel is the home to the first and only outdoor ice-skating rink and exclusive winter wonderland experience in West Palm Beach. The Ben Hotel’s Winter Wonderland will transform its outdoor space into an “Instagramable” escape, with specialized lighting, music, and festive decorations designed to make guests feel as though they have stepped into a faraway snow-capped village while still under Florida’s palm trees. Families, friends, and couples are invited to lace up their skates and enjoy a real outdoor ice-skating rink. The Winter Wonderland experience will not stop at ice skating. The Ben Hotel will offer themed food and beverages inspired by cozy winter lodges, along with a VIP area for special guests. The space will host a variety of seasonal events, including family-friendly activities and exclusive themed parties throughout the duration of the installation. Zoo Lights at Palm Beach Zoo
- Date: Select nights November 23 – January 5, 2024, 5:30 PM – 9 PM
- Adult Only Nights – November 15 & 16, December 5 & 12
- Location: Palm Beach Zoo, 1301 Summit Boulevard, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405
- Price: $22 per adult, $18 per child ages 3-12, kids 2 and under are free. Day and night combo tickets also available.
- Details: This magical event will transform the Zoo into a winter wonderland of twinkling lights and seasonal delights. Take photos with Santa. Decorate cookies, and roast s’mores. Enjoy hourly light shows, music and “snow” in the fountain!

Photos with Santa at CityPlace West Palm
- Date: Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from November 9-December 24
- 6 PM – 8 PM Friday and Saturday
- 5 PM – 7 PM Sunday
- Schedule Notes: Snowfalls occurs each evening at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM & 8:30 PM. Santa will take a 5-minute break during the snowfalls at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
