Delray Beach’s popular Halloween events are back in 2024! Get ready for a day filled with entertainment, candy and more on Saturday, October 26.
The day’s festivities kick off with the 13th Annual Witches of Delray Bike Ride. Hundreds of local “witches” will ride down Atlantic Avenue on their decorated “brooms” (bikes) to benefit charity. It’s a Halloween “parade” of sorts like no other. They start riding at 8:30 AM starting at City Hall and ending at the Old School Square (see the map for exact route). At the end of the witches’ “flight,” there will be contests for “Best Decorated Bike,” “Best Witch Costume,” and “Best Witch Cackle.”
Note: The Delray Beach GreenMarket is also taking place at the Old School Square from 9 AM – 2 PM!
After that, kids can also enjoy free trick-or-treating provided by the merchants along Atlantic Avenue and Pineapple Grove starting at 11:30 AM.
Then, the actual 61st annual Delray Beach Halloween Parade will take place at 1 PM. And while a lot of people come to watch it from near and far, you should know that you can also join in since this is a walking parade open to everyone! Wear your best Halloween costume and show it off to all your friends and neighbors.
Lastly, Kidsfest, the annual Halloween festival, will take place at Old School Square from 12 PM – 4 PM with games, bounce houses, entertainment, food and more!
From sunup to sundown, Delray Beach will be brimming with fun activities for the whole family to enjoy — all free!
